Mead Johnson Nutrition considers requests for charitable giving from a broad range of charitable organizations. Charitable giving is permitted if the recipient is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Requests for charitable giving from Mead Johnson Nutrition must be made in connection with a general fundraising effort by the charitable entity, rather than a request directed only to Mead Johnson Nutrition. In addition, the request for a contribution must come from the organization itself and not from an individual physician, pharmacist, or healthcare professional who is not an employee of the charity.
Charitable giving may not be tied, in any way, to past, present, or future prescribing, purchasing, or recommending (including formulary recommendations) of any product. Any evidence that suggests that the charitable gift is tied, in any way, to past, present, or future prescribing, purchasing, or recommending of any product will cause the request to be rejected, and the request may not be resubmitted.
Evansville Area Organizations
Evansville area 501(c)(3)-designated organizations may submit charitable giving applications throughout the year. However, if your request exceeds $1,000, it is highly recommended that you submit your application between June 1 and August 31 in the year prior to when the funds are needed. Requests greater than $1,000 are generally reviewed as a group once a year. If approved, funding will be awarded in the following year. Requests greater than $1,000 received after August 31 might not be considered, and you might be asked to reapply the following year.
Please allow at least three months for processing your funding application. Grant applications submitted less than three months prior to an event may be rejected, due to insufficient time to process the application.
