    Excellent Prenatal Supplement

    By first-time mom

    Pros

    • Easy On The Stomach
    • Simple to Use

    Cons

      Best Uses

      • Pre-natal

Comments about Enfamil® Expecta® Prenatal Supplement:

I am a first time mom and have tried other prenatal supplements including one prescribed by my doctor, vitafusion, and one a day and so far this has been the best so far. The one prescribed by my doctor was a big size and it felt like I was swallowing a horse pill and the vitafusion gummy was too sticky. Before switching to Enfamil prenatal, I read good reviews about it and also heard from other mothers (who previously used this product) that they were satisfied with this prenatal.

What's great about the product is that it contains all vitamins needed, especially DHA. I was happy that I did not have to buy a separate bottle for DHA. Most people complain about the taste and smell from other brands but this prenatal didn't have a taste as it was just a pill. As far as smell, there's a slight smell but I think its normal when opening any bottle of pills. This was also very easy for the stomach. I didn't feel nauseated or side effects.

Comments about Enfamil® Expecta® Prenatal Supplement:

I chose this product after trying several other pre-natals. This Product is easy on the stomach but can cause nausea if taken on an empty stomach . I find it best to eat a small snack then take this product before bed.

      Non-fishy DHA with FISHY prenatal?!

Comments about Enfamil® Expecta® Prenatal Supplement:

Enfamil used to sell this as just the DHA pill - they were great! Only non-fishy DHA I found. Now they only sell it as a pack with a prenatal, which would be fine except the prenatal is FISHY! Why would you offer a non-fishy DHA with a fishy prenatal? Makes no sense.

Comments about Enfamil® Expecta® Prenatal Supplement:

Although I would like to rave about this product, it just didn't do it for me. It does have great quality ingredients to make a perfect pre-natal formula, but the Prenatal Tablet had no USP information for it, so there's no telling how much you and your baby is actually getting. I wish they broke down the one tablet into three so people won't feel so nauseas when taking it. Taking one tablet a day seems simple, but I would rather have it broken down to where i can take the vitamin 2 or 3 times a day. Because taking all that in ONE pill at the same time is what upsets my stomach. I bought it just to try it out and ending up returning it a week later. I ended up just sticking with my GNC Prenatal with DHA, which pretty much has the same ingredients and it doesn't make me feel sick.
