      Comments about Enfamil PurAmino™:

This product saved our daughter. She was fine for 3 months and then threw up after every feeding. It got worse and worse, and by month 5 her weight was "drifting". No formula helped, until a friend suggested this stuff. The Change happened right away! She went from 13 pounds to her present 11 month weight of 21 pounds. She is happy, healthy, and eating 3 servings of solid foods daily, while still taking the pur amino. This stuff is the best.

          Comments about Enfamil PurAmino™:

It took 2 months for the doctors to figure out what was going on with our daughter. We tried 5 different formulas and a ton of meds and she still cried all the time, was extremely gassy and had 13-14 stools a day. Within 2 feedings with Puramino, we had a smiling happy baby girl! Complete life saver!

            Comments about Enfamil PurAmino™:

My daughter was diagnosed with Intact Protein Allergy very early on and was put on Elecare, an Amino Acid based formula. She was on this formula from about 1 month to 4 months. Around 4 months of age she began to refuse to eat. Her intake was down to 17oz a day, this was not an easy 17oz either. GI Dr., said that around this time babies begin to develop taste buds and quite frankly these formulas taste terrible, very metallic tasting. He gave us Elecare Vanilla Jr to add to her Elecare infant to help mask the taste, no luck. We tried adding Splenda, no luck. We went to Neocate, another amino acid based formula, than began adding Neocate Vanilla Jr, Neocate with Splenda, still no luck. Finally he gave us Puramino, her intake went to 22oz, than 24oz, than 26oz. She is now steadily at 26-29oz a day at 5 months. I noticed the increase from 17oz to 26oz within a 1 week time period. This formula is not as metallic tasting and has almost a oily film, however, it still tastes horrible, but she drinks it! All of it! Maybe its the oily film that forms a coating in her lining, maybe its the non metallic taste, I have no idea. I'm just happy she enjoys it. I would cringe at feeding time, and now its become a joy and I'm happy to see her so contently eating.
If you experience what I have, Puramino is worth a try.
She is also on Gelmix formula thickner, which helped with Reflux.

            Comments about Enfamil PurAmino™:

My almost 4 month old baby had troubles since day 9, she would start crying at 9 pm until 4 am every day. At 26 days they found she had acid reflux and milk protein allergy. We tried Nutramigen and it didn´t work, finally after 7 different formulas and a living hell trying to breastfeed our gastroenterologist suggested we tried PURAMINO (they started selling it in my country with that name only two months ago) before that there were not elemental formulas. So she´s been on Puramino since December and we´ve seen great results, she is a totally different baby, she went from bloody stools to a diaper a day; from vomiting after feedings to only spitting up; from crying a lot to smiling and sleeping well. She is gaining enough weight and reaching milestones as expected for her age, and we are super happy. It is really expensive, but as other reviewers think and express it is nothing compared to her wellness.

                Comments about Enfamil PurAmino™:

This is my third baby with milk protein allergy. Doc put her on Nutramigen first, but she still had blood in her stool. Then she put her on Neocate. She could not tolerate it at all. She projectile vomited every feeding. We got a referral to GI...while waiting for appointment I ordered Nutramigen AA. Within 24 hours I had a new baby and no more messes to clean up. She is doing so well we have not had to go to GI. I don't know what the difference is between the two formulas, but I am so greatful for Nutramigen AA.
