Why can't I just use rice cereal?

Infant formulas are nutrionally balanced and have just the right amounts of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. When rice cereal is added to the formula the nutrional balance is drastically changed. So, ounce for ounce adding rice cereal to formula increases the carbohydrates and decreases the fats and proteins, whick makes the formula less nutrionally balanced for baby. Shake Longer, Sit Longer

Enfamil RestFull formula requires more mixing time. After adding the powder to the water, use the bottlecap insert (not the nipple) to mix.

Keep the bottle upright and:

1. Shake side to side for 5 seconds.
2. Shake vigorously up and down for 10 seconds.
3. Let the bottle sit for 5 minutes (helps the formula thicken).
4. One more shake, then replace the bottle cap insert with the nipple and feed.

Instructions for preparation and use are listed on the container label.

Tips for Warming the Bottle:

• For immediate feeding, mix formula with water that feels neutral on your wrist (body temperature).
• To warm a cold bottle, run warm tap water over the bottle or place the bottle in a pan of hot (not boiling) water. Do not submerge the bottle past the collar of the nipple ring.
• Do not warm for more than 15 minutes.
• Never use the microwave to warm formula; serious burns may result.

"It Looks Different!"

Due to the thicker formulation of Enfamil RestFull, you may see a slight residue remaining in the bottle or cup. This is perfectly normal and means that the formula was properly prepared. Always use the special mixing instructions on the container label to prepare Enfamil RestFull formula.
