Exercise prevents complications such as urinary stress incontinence and a lot of low back pain that comes after pregnancy and I think the biggest thing is that exercise increases endorphins in the brain and has been shown to definitely decrease postpartum depression, so people sleep better, they have more energy, and they really have less aches and pains.
