Both c-section and vaginal, they can start immediately with stretching exercises and Kegel or pelvic floor muscle exercises. Vaginal deliveries - probably about two weeks. Afterwards, after the stretching and kegels, they can get into more strenuous exercise. C-sections - probably best to wait until a six week check, as long as they've been doing their stretching and their kegels before that.
